Dreame Technology has introduced a range of smart locks at its DREAME NEXT event in San Francisco, held April 27–30, 2026. The lineup includes five models spanning from basic smart access to a concept product with AI-driven biometrics and wearable integration. The locks are designed to work with existing smart home ecosystems via Matter over Thread, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and direct Wi-Fi.
The lineup
Dreame presented five smart locks at the event:
Dreame NAVO Smart Lock A10 – The flagship model, built on Matter over Thread for cross-platform compatibility with Apple Home, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa. It features geofencing auto-unlock, built-in Wi-Fi for hub-free remote control, a gyroscope-based auto-lock system, and BHMA Grade 2 certification. Battery life is rated at up to 8 months, with IP65 weather resistance. It offers four smart modes: Care, Away, Passage, and Do Not Disturb.
Dreame Safio Lock Turbo Lite – An Apple-focused model supporting Apple Home and Home Key, allowing unlocking via iPhone or Apple Watch. It provides up to 12 months of battery life and multiple unlock methods: fingerprint, PIN, NFC, and physical key. It includes customizable auto-lock and real-time alerts.
Dreame Riponex Smart Lock X10 Ultra (Concept) – A concept product that is not yet certified or in production. It introduces AI Palm Vein Unlocking, which recognizes internal vein patterns rather than fingerprints. It also supports Aliro over NFC for battery-free smart ring unlocking. The lock is designed toward BHMA Grade 1 standards and includes an AI-powered 3K camera security system, hands-free unlocking for both deadbolt and latch bolt, and a rear-screen interface intended for children and elderly users. When paired with an NFC-enabled ring, the system can display health data—blood oxygen, heart rate, sleep data—on the lock's rear screen upon arrival.
Dreame NAVO Smart Lock E10 – Details were not provided in the announcement beyond its inclusion in the portfolio.
Dreame Riponex Smart Lock Z10 Ultra – Also listed without specific feature details.
What it does
The locks use machine learning algorithms and real-time sensor data for threat detection and context-aware entry management. The A10 and X10 Ultra models integrate with home automation systems via Zigbee and Z-Wave protocols, in addition to Matter and Wi-Fi. The A10's geofencing auto-unlock triggers when the user's phone approaches, while the gyroscope-based auto-lock detects actual door movement to engage the lock.
Tradeoffs
The X10 Ultra is a concept product—features are subject to further development and certification, so availability and final specifications are uncertain. The A10 and Turbo Lite are shipping products with clear certifications (BHMA Grade 2 for the A10). The Turbo Lite is limited to the Apple ecosystem, while the A10 supports all three major smart home platforms. The X10 Ultra's palm-vein and smart ring features require compatible wearable hardware that may not be widely available.
When to use it
For users already invested in Apple Home, the Safio Lock Turbo Lite offers a straightforward, long-battery-life option with Home Key support. For multi-platform households, the NAVO Smart Lock A10 provides Matter compatibility and hub-free remote access. The X10 Ultra concept points toward a future where locks double as health-monitoring kiosks, but it is not yet a purchaseable product.
Bottom line
Dreame's smart lock portfolio covers the spectrum from basic Matter-compatible locks to a high-end concept with biometric and wearable integration. The A10 is the most immediately practical option for most users, while the X10 Ultra signals where the company is heading—but remains a concept for now.
